The Multidisciplinary Smile Design is a tool that is used during the planning of a dental treatment. It allows the patient to interact with the dental specialist in the planning process, expressing their wishes and expectations. It is important to note that aesthetic treatments should not be performed without first completing the clinical procedures that are necessary to create the conditions required by the dental specialist for the smile design, this could include prophylaxis or gingival reshaping, Atraumatic Restorative Techniques (ART), endodontic treatments, prosthetic, orthodontics, periodontal and maxillary surgeries, among others.
